Why a personal site in 2026?
Social platforms come and go. LinkedIn is great for professional updates, but it's not the place for a long-form write-up on why a specific Conditional Access policy broke at 2 AM. A blog is.
More importantly: writing forces clarity. If I can't explain something I do every day — firewall HA, Entra ID governance, Veeam tape rotation — then I probably don't understand it as well as I think.
What to expect
Three rough categories of posts, in no particular order:
- Field notes — practical lessons from real deployments and incidents.
- Deep dives — Entra ID, Fortinet, Hyper-V, Veeam, and adjacent tooling.
- Side projects — the small tools and experiments I build for fun.
And the tools?
The Tools section is where I'll publish small, client-side utilities — password generators, subnet calculators, DNS lookups, and so on. Nothing fancy; just things I actually use, cleaned up and shared.
